Digital Designer (Rodale Online)


REPORTING TO THE:  Head of Digital Content – Rodale

Touchline Media is looking for a dynamic individual to work within the digital team on four of our titles – Men’s Health, Women’s Health, Bicycling and Runner’s World.

The role is best described as a digital design expert who works within the brand team, developing tools, banners and campaigns for our various projects and clients. It is a creative role which requires design training and an ability to understand the nuisances of the various brands.

The successful candidate will be exposed to a broad spectrum of digital publishing which includes both design and development aspects, as well as editorial copy. The role also includes publishing work on both web and mobile platforms.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

  1. Constantly grow the online community by increasing traffic to all areas of the sites.
  2. Provide editorial and graphical content in a timely manner as requested by the Head of Digital Content for Rodale
  3. Deliver requirements as stipulated in weekly production schedule.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Necessary qualifications in creating and using Adobe Flash (including ActionScript), HTML, CSS.
  2. Understanding of SEO practices – why it is important and how to implement it with the above
  3. Good workflow control – enabling the success candidates to deliver projects on time and to an acceptable standard
  4. Passion for all things digital
  5. Good communication skills
